Mrs Alyona Kapoor shows us how it is made in her home, bringing back countless memories.MOONG DAL CHEELAIngredients1½ cups green gram (moong dal) sprouts + for sprinkling 1 inch ginger, roughly chopped1 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)1 teaspoon black peppercorns 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves + for topping ½ teaspoon asafoetidaGhee for drizzlingChopped onions for topping Chaat masala for sprinkling Method1. Blend together green gram sprouts, ginger, cumin seeds, peppercorns, coriander leaves and asafoetida with sufficient water to a smooth batter. 2. Heat a non-stick tawa. Pour a ladleful of batter on it and spread into a medium thick disc. Drizzle some ghee and top with some onions and coriander leaves, sprinkle some chaat masala and green gram sprouts.
